Kolek compiled 15 points (6-10 FG, 1-4 3PT, 2-2 FT), five assists, two rebounds and two steals in 17 minutes during Wednesday’s 117-94 win over the Wizards.
Kolek continues to push his claim for regular season minutes, putting together another strong performance. Taken at pick 34 in the 2024 NBA Draft, Kolek will have to earn his spot in the rotation, competing with Cameron Payne for backup point guard minutes behind Jalen Brunson. Despite being undersized, Kolek has an intriguing offensive skillset, something that could at least put him in the discussion for playing time on opening night.
