About the shoe
The “BMF” actress pulled on a pair of light wash denim boots from the brand Retrofête. The footwear was dubbed the Frida boot by the brand and features a leather lining.
The shaft of the boot stands at 16 inches, making it go to the top of the calf. It also features a stiletto heel of just over four inches and a single sole. The toe of the boot comes to a sharp point and a seam runs from the tip of the toe up to the top of the boot. It retails for $998.
Retrofête: 6 Years in Progress
Launched in 2018 with husband and wife couple Aviad Klin and Ohad Seroya, Retrofête initially rode the revenge dressing wave. In 2023, the label previewed its spring 2024 launch into footwear at New York Fashion Week with an eight-piece Made in Italy capsule. That collection launched for consumers in March, featuring a variety of boots as well as strappy, snake-wrap-inspired sandals. The price point ranges from $498 to $1,598.
“My dream of designing footwear has finally become a reality—offering the head-to-toe Retrofête look, finishing touches and all,” Seroya, the creative director, told FN of that launch.
