Lineapelle New York Show Features Artisanal Intelligence And Innovative Quality
After kicking off the winter 2025-26 season in London on Tuesday at the Ham Yard Hotel, Lineapelle is hosting its two-day event on July 17 and 18 in New York City. Both events will include key programming for its global community ahead of the 104 edition of Lineapelle Milano in September.
Notably, this year marks Lineapelle’s 45th showing in New York, which the company said has become its reference point to the U.S. market which “despite the general complexity of the current economic situation, shows some encouraging signs for Italian leathers.” The event will host more than 110 exhibitors from regions including Italy, France, Spain, Germany, the U.K., Turkey, India, China, Mexico, Brazil and the U.S.
In London, Lineapelle’s first event of the season, the company gathered 42 exhibitors including 25 tanneries, eight fabric and synthetic producers and nine accessory-makers. Two fashion presentations featured new trends for the winter 2025 season and took a cue from Lineapelle’s trend book called “An Intelligent Heart.”
Regarding the theme, the Lineapelle Fashion Committee said that “artificial intelligence is a superpower that could enhance our lives and our world but the heart makes the difference. In a time of great changes like the one we are experiencing, we need to put the heart back at the center of our choices. There is a need for depth and introspection to integrate emotions into the creative process, creating pulsating objects and materials that resonate deeply and have a positive impact on the world.”
In New York, Lineapelle will focus on the theme of “artisanal intelligence.” Over the two days, attendees will be invited to explore the trends developed by the Lineapelle Fashion Committee through three creative seminars that will each highlight themes of “artisanal intelligence,” which the fair said is “one of the greatest values of Made in Italy.”
To further explore the concept of artisanal intelligence, Lineapelle will host five “In the Making” workshops, an experiential “learn by doing” experience in collaboration with Giorgio Linea. Participants will see firsthand the art of making small leather goods. Additionally, companies including Mipel Lab, Sapaf and Tivoli Group, which set the benchmark in the development and production of leather goods for global luxury brands will be present.
Lineapelle looks forward to the September edition of Lineapelle Milano, they said that both the events in London and New York are the “perfect spark to shine the spotlight” on what’s to come.
