Lions, Giants joint practice live updates: Day 2

Tuesday hasn’t gotten off to a great start for the Detroit Lions. It kicked off with news that cornerback Emmanuel Moseley is out indefinitely after suffering a torn pectoral. The news got a little better later when coach Dan Campbell noted that the injuries to Terrion Arnold—who will practice Tuesday—and Kevin Zeitler are not considered serious.

Still, it was a scary Monday with how physical joint practices with the New York Giants was. Let’s hope for a healthier day on Tuesday, as the two teams prepare for their second (and final) day of joint practices before Thursday’s preseason game.

While we won’t be in attendance for Tuesday’s practice, we’ll help provide you with the latest news here, via Twitter lists.

First, we have our own curated Detroit Lions coverage Twitter list. You can click here to access that (if it doesn’t work, try to refresh the page). There you’ll find the top Lions beat writers on site tweeting the latest developments and practices highlights from Tuesday.

History shows that the New York beat is far more active in live updates on Twitter, so that’s why we’re keeping tabs on this Twitter list of Giants beat writers curated by the team itself. They’ll have an entirely different perspective on practice, and while it will be mostly focused on the Giants, there will be plenty to take from their notes as it pertains to Detroit.

While we won’t be sharing our own observations of practice this week, we do plan on curating the most interesting reactions this week from both Detroit and New York media. You can check our post from Monday recapping Day 1 of practice.

In the meantime, feel free to share your findings in the comment section below, and treat this as a live thread for practices.
