Modest Mouse announces anniversary tour with 3 NY shows. Get tickets
We’ve got good news for people who love “Good News For People Who Love Bad News.”
Starting on Oct. 28, Modest Mouse will take off on a 20th anniversary tour celebrating the seminal 2004 album that catapulted them into the mainstream behind the success of “Float On,” “The World At Large,” “Ocean Breathes Salty” and “The Good Times Are Killing Me.”
Better yet, we’ve got even more “Good News” for New Yorkers.
The 21-concert trek concludes with three back-to-back-to-back shows at Brooklyn Steel on Thursday, Nov. 21, Friday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, Nov. 23.
Indie rockers The Black Heart Procession serve as the special guest on select dates.
“[‘Good News’ is] the only record where I can do a tour with all the living members, all the exact same members,” lead singer Isaac Brock said on Rolling Stone’s Music Now podcast.
If this sounds like the throwback indie show for you, seats are available as soon as today.
Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale is Friday, Aug. 23.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

The Black Heart Procession
Formed in 1997, the jangly indie rock group fronted by Pall Jenkins — of Ugly Casanova fame — made their name with tunes like the wry “It’s A Crime I Never Told You About the Diamonds in Your Eyes,” plaintive “The Letter” and funky ballad “A Cry for Love.”
