The banned Yankees fan who grabbed Mookie Betts claimed he and his pal decided to “D up.”

Well, turns out Betts would have had no problems throwing down.

After winning his third World Series on Wednesday night, Betts finally revealed his true thoughts on the two fans who grabbed him while he he caught a ball in foul territory Tuesday during Game 4.

“That was wild, man. That was really wild. I’ve never experienced anything like that,” Betts told the Fox crew after the Dodgers’ 7-6 win. “I was telling my wife, that was like the second time in my life I’ve ever wanted to fight someone. I get it, man. I get it. I don’t know if he was trying to get the ball, I don’t know what he was really trying to do but he had to do what he had to do and it is what it is.”

One of the lasting memories of this World Series will be when Yankees fans Austin Capobioanco and friend John Peter interfering with Betts on a foul ball down the right-field line in Game 4.

Capobianco grabbed Betts glove in an attempt to remove the ball, with Peter grabbing Betts’ right hand during the skirmish.

The fans were ejected for their actions, while Gleyber Torres was ruled out due to fan interference.

Betts, to his part, downplayed the incident leading into Game 5.

“I didn’t even know he grabbed my hand,” he said after the Yankees’ 11-4 win Tuesday. “It’s perfectly fine.”

The former AL MVP added: “When it comes to the person and play, it doesn’t matter. We lost. It’s irrelevant. I’m fine, he’s fine. Everything’s cool. We lost the game, that’s what I’m kind of focused on. We got to turn the page and get ready for tomorrow.”

With his second Dodgers title in hand that he helped deliver with his game-winning sacrifice fly on Thursday, Betts revealed his true thoughts while discussing the situation with David Ortiz.

His sentiments echoed those of his teammates, who had no problems calling out the fans for their behaviors in the immediate aftermath.

Dodgers shortstop Tommy Edman called it “ridiculous” and “unacceptable”, while third baseman Max Muncy told The Post the two should receive an “instant lifetime ban.”

“They should never be allowed in any ballpark ever again,” Muncy said. “If it’s an accidental thing where you’re trying to catch the ball and you bump a (player), that’s one thing. But in that scenario, you have two guys trying to grab Mookie’s glove and then his hand — that’s a lifetime ban.

He added: “That’s borderline assault. You could file (charges) for that.”
