With the surging ICC T20 World Cup 2024 craze, the United States is all set to host eight T20 World Cup 2024 matches from June 1 to 29. New York’s newly built Nassau County International Cricket Stadium has been chosen as the venue for key matches, including the India vs Pakistan clash. Three months ago, the Eisenhower Park in East Meadow of upstate New York was transformed from a conventional local park to a one-of-a-kind stadium, set to host the much-hyped India vs Pakistan clash on June 9 (Sunday).

Renowned Jamaican athlete Usain Bolt officially launched the stadium on May 15, who is also this year’s T20 World Cup ambassador. Interestingly, this dream project was mapped out by a group called Populous, who also created Ahmedabad’s iconic Narendra Modi Stadium and London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Here are all the details about the architecture and price of the USA’s moduler stadium.

Boundary Length of Nassau County Cricket Stadium

The world-class pitch built 1200 miles away in Florida, is approximately 361,850 square feet (33,616 square meters). Its boundary length can vary from 65 to 70 meters. The stadium’s bowling ends are named North Pavilion End and South Pavilion End.

Capacity of Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York

New York’s Nassau County International Cricket Stadium is a standard-sized stadium, which holds a capacity of 34,000 seats. It has both permanent and temporary seating areas.

The North Pavilion End of the stadium holds the largest number of premium club lounge seats and the South Pavilion End includes the boundary club seats.

How to Get Tickets for Nassau County International Cricket Stadium?

The stadium features multiple tiers of seating options, ranging from standard to premium and cabana seats. The standard tickets are the cheapest, priced at $90. The standard plus and premium seats cost $200 and $300 respectively. The boundary seats are priced at $600, followed by the pavillion club (South) seats costing $750.

The premium tickets are quite pricey. The premium club lounge (both North and South) and corner club seats are all priced at $1,000. The cabana seats are the costliest, priced at $1,350.

Detailed Pitch Report of Nassau County International Cricket Stadium

As per reports, the pitch soil for the drop-in pitches is imported from Adelaide, Australia. The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium’s ground conditions are very similar to that of Adelaide’s, as both New York and Adelaide are located near the seacoast.

The pitch at the stadium is absolutely batsman-friendly. Past Matches In Nassau County Stadium

The first-ever match to be played at New York’s Nassau County International Cricket Stadium is between Sri Lanka and South Africa on June 3 (Monday). It will followed by India’s first Group A match against  Ireland on June 5 (Wednesday). Two other matches will be played before the India vs Pakistan clash- Canada vs Ireland and Netherlands vs South Africa on June 7 and 8 respectively. The next three matches at Nassau will take place on June 10 between South Africa and Bangladesh, on June 11 between Pakistan and Canada, and on June 12 between the United States and India.
