The 2024-25 NBA season is here and so are early odds for which team will win the NBA championship this season.
The favorite in those early odds?
The defending champion Boston Celtics. BetMGM Sportsbook puts Boston at +325 to win the title this season.
The sportsbook sees the Celtics’ toughest competition coming from the Oklahoma City Thunder, who are at +500 odds to win the title, and the New York Knicks, who are at +650.
The Philadelphia 76ers are at +1000 in 2024-25 NBA Championship futures odds, with the Denver Nuggets rounding out the Top 5, at +1100.
The longest of the long shots to win the title this season?
The Portland Trail Blazers, Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Hornets, Toronto Raptors, Washington Wizards, Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls are all given odds of +100000.
