The Giants go into Year 6 with quarterback Daniel Jones under center, having passed on an opportunity to add a potential successor in the 2024 NFL Draft. What they did do, though, was add a high-upside weapon to Jones’ arsenal in first-round pick Malik Nabers from LSU. The team also infamously allowed do-it-all running back Saquon Barkley leave for Philadelphia in free agency, replacing him with Buffalo Bills free agent Devin Singletary. The Giants come off a 6-11 season where Jones was injured in Week 5 and the team never managed to climb into contention after getting off to a 1-5 start.

The Jets also lost their prized quarterback to injury when veteran Aaron Rodgers was lost for the season with an Achilles tendon injury suffered on his first drive as a Jet. They still managed to hang in contention with a 4-3 record through seven games, but the wheels fell off and they finished 7-10 to miss the postseason for the 13th straight year. Rodgers is back in 2024 and leads a team capable of winning double-digit games with better health and performance.

The Giants and Jets are set for a 7:30 p.m. ET start on NFL Network. Live streams are available from FuboTV (free trial), DirecTV Stream (free trial) and SlingTV (low intro rate).
