New York Giants entire 2024 NFL Draft class sign rookie contracts | Sporting News

The New York Giants signed safety Tyler Nubin to a four-year rookie contract, the team announced Friday.

With Nubin under contract, the Giants now have signed all six of their selections from the 2024 NFL Draft.

The team’s second-round pick out of Minnesota, Nubin is expected to compete for a starting spot right away. He’s been working with the second-team defense during OTAs, but the versatile safety should climb the depth chart quickly.

In a thin safety class, Nubin is arguably the best prospect from the group entering the NFL. He showed off exceptional ball skills with 13 career interceptions and 24 passes defensed in 55 games (44 starts) at Minnesota.

The Giants need as much help as they can get from a questionable secondary, and Nubin is expected to help lead that charge in 2024.
