New York Giants fan survey: Should Brian Daboll, Joe Schoen return in 2025?
If the headline for this story strikes you as chillingly familiar, that’s because it’s the same one we used last season (obviously with the year updated).
Such is life for the New York Giants. New season, same problems, though at least there’s no more wondering about Daniel Jones’ future. That’s been decided.
Still, the Giants are facing many of the same questions they faced last year — at quarterback certainly, but perhaps the biggest is regarding their leadership structure. As they are mired in a 2-9 season and amid a six-game losing streak, it’s more than fair to wonder: Are general manager Joe Schoen and coach Brian Daboll still the right people to be leading this franchise into the future? Should they be in charge of picking the team’s next starting quarterback?
Last year around this time, an overwhelming majority of voters showed support for the Schoen-Daboll regime. When asked whether Daboll should return in 2024, 96.6 percent of responders voted “yes.” When asked the same question about Schoen, 95.3 percent of responders were in favor. And finally, when asked what level of confidence (scale of 1-5) fans had that the current regime could turn things around, more than 60 percent responded with a vote of 4 or 5.
Maybe we’re wrong, but we don’t think it will be quite so one-sided this year. We’ll find out.
Before you cast your votes, we just wanted to say thank you in advance for your participation. We know this season has been frustrating for Giants fans, so we appreciate those of you who are staying engaged.
And with that, here’s the survey:
