New York Giants host several free agents for tryout at minicamp | Sporting News

The New York Giants are hosting a handful of free agents at minicamp on a tryout basis.

As the Giants wrap up the offseason workout schedule this week before breaking for summer, there will be four free agents attending minicamp for tryouts.

Two of them will be tight ends, which makes sense following the retirement of Darren Waller earlier this week.

Here are the free agents attending the Giants minicamp on a tryout basis:

  • CB Tre Herndon III
  • TE Noah Togiai
  • TE Geor’quarius Spivey
  • OL Kellen Diesch

The Giants have depth needs at all three positions going into summer break so it will be interesting to see if any of these players do enough during minicamp to make the roster going into training camp.

The Giants will hold minicamp practices Tuesday and Wednesday before an organization-wide cookout Thursday to conclude the offseason workout program.
