Malik Nabers is an American football wide receiver who plays for the New York Giants in the National Football League. The LSU Tigers player played college football. Having been awarded the 2023 unanimous All-American honors, Malik exited as the all-time Tiger leader in receiving yards. Malik Nabers was drafted by the New York Giants as the sixth overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.Nabers has been outstanding early in his rookie year, and the move he used Thursday night is more evidence of how dangerous he can be. Malik Nabers’ move shows how dangerous he can be

The Giants had third-and-4 from their 21-yard line. Daniel Jones hit LSU product Nabers for a 39-yard gain after he ran a perfect double move that caused Cowboys cornerback Andrew Booth to fall. Malik Nabers streaked downfield and Jones hit him with 39 yards. The Giants chose Nabers with the No. 6 pick in the 2024 NFL draft, and he has been a top wideout thus far. In Week 2, he had 10 catches for 127 yards and a touchdown, and continued his hot streak in Week 3.
In his first offseason, he and former LSU teammate Jayden Daniels received training from the league on its gambling policy for proposing a friendly $10,000 bet on who would be named offensive rookie of the year. He signed his four-year rookie contract, which is worth entirely $29.9 million, on May 10, 2024. Nabers switched to uniform number 1, which he wore during the preseason while becoming the first Giant since Ray Flaherty to wear it, whose number is retired dating back to 1935.
In his NFL debut, Nabers had five receptions for 66 yards in a 28–6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Nabers caught his first NFL touchdown pass in Week 2 against the Washington Commanders. In Week 3, Nabers had 78 receiving yards and two touchdowns in a 21–15 win over the Cleveland Browns. He became the first player in NFL history to put up at least 20 receptions and three touchdown catches in his first three career games. He also became the youngest wide receiver in NFL history to record at least two touchdown receptions in a game at 21 years and 56 days old, surpassing the previous record set by Mike Evans at 21 years and 73 days old.
