New York Giants, Tennessee Titans Linked To UFL Return Specialist Amid NFL Rule Change – Gridiron Heroics

New York Giants news: The league’s new kickoff rule has led to a bit of a mad scramble among teams as they look to fill a new void that this significant change has brought about. To a certain extent, this has prompted a shortage in return specialists in the NFL as these types of players have suddenly become sought-after assets throughout the league.

This has led to teams like the Giants and the Tennessee Titans getting creative in terms of addressing their respective needs.

Now that kick returners have become scarce across the league, teams have turned to the UFL for potential recruits. One player who has emerged as a target is Juwan Manigo, who is reportedly on the radar of both the Giants and the Titans:

“AtoZSports.com reports, that the Giants and the Titans have been in contact with Juwan ‘Sonic’ Manigo of the Arlington Renegades,” worte Mike Florio of PFT.

According to the above report, the two teams are taking the necessary steps to potentially sign the UFL standout. At this point, it appears to be a two-horse race between the Giants and the Titans.

Both teams have return specialists on their roster as it is, but it isn’t at all surprising that they are now looking to add more depth at this position ahead of the new season.

Don’t be surprised if Manigo is not the only UFL recruit that finds himself on an NFL roster this coming season — especially when it comes to kick returners.
