New York Jets at San Francisco 49ers: Monday Night Football Discussion

It’s time to wrap up Week 1 of National Football League action, and tonight we’re heading the Levi’s Stadium for a matchup between two teams that the Minnesota Vikings will be seeing in the very near future as the San Francisco 49ers play host to the New York Jets.

The Niners, as we all know, won the NFC last year by defeating a couple of our NFC North rivals (which was fun) but fell in overtime in the Super Bowl to Kansas City. The Jets, on the other hand, saw their 2023 season derailed just four plays in when their new quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. . .who we have some familiarity with. . .tore his Achilles and missed the entire season.

The Niners will come to U.S. Bank Stadium to face the Vikings this coming Sunday, while the Jets will be the team’s opponent for their “home” game in London in Week 5. So, fans of the purple should be viewing this one with significant interest.
