New York Knicks Guard Donte DiVincenzo to Appear in Latham on Sunday

New York Knicks guard Donte DiVincenzo is set to make an appearance in the Capital Region on Sunday, and anticipation is running high. Lines are expected to be out the door at Dick’s House of Sport in Latham.

“It’s a big group effort. We have partners in Pittsburgh and I’m the man on the ground that makes sure everyone is able to meet him. It’s a full-time partnership with everyone at the store,” said Jared Degroff, Local Marketing Specialist at Dick’s House of Sport in Latham.

DiVincenzo made a splash during his first year with the Knicks this past season, setting a franchise record for most threes made in a game at 11 and an NBA record for most three-pointers in a Game Seven at nine.

The Big Ragu is one of four former Villanova teammates on the Knicks, alongside Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and newly acquired forward Mikal Bridges. He’ll be in town to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Dick’s House of Sport in Latham. Last year, former Giants running back Saquon Barkley kicked off the store’s grand opening.

“We’re really hoping to have a good turnout and a lot of excitement to see him in the building,” added Degroff.

You can meet DiVincenzo on Sunday from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. Organizations advise folks to arrive earlier to secure a spot in line. The first 100 adults in line will receive a free mystery gift card.
