Kolek logged seven points (2-9 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine assists and eight rebounds across 24 minutes in Tuesday’s 111-105 preseason win over the Hornets.

Kolek saw more playing time Tuesday as Jalen Brunson and the rest of the Knicks‘ starters rested. Kolek didn’t shoot particularly well from the floor, but he managed to lead the Knicks in assists and was third in rebounding behind Precious Achiuwa (16) and Jericho Sims (10). Kolek, the Knicks’ rookie second-round pick, will likely see limited playing time as he serves as the third point guard on the depth chart behind Brunson and Cameron Payne.
