New York Knicks vs. Indiana Pacers: Predictions, odds and where to watch Game 3

Jalen Brunson might be the most popular person in New York right now. The New York Knicks have not been to the Eastern Conference Finals since 2000, and they are right on the edge of it, up 2-0 against the Indiana Pacers.

Of course, the first two games of the series haven’t been blowouts. In fact, neither game has been a double-digit victory, and now, the series heads to Indianapolis. There’s reason for concern for Knicks fans, but until the Pacers prove they can defeat the Knickerbockers, most fans believe the sweep is still in order.

The bright side for the Pacers is that there is definitely room to improve. New York shot a staggering 57% from the field in Game 2. If the Pacers can bring that down to 45%, even 50%, the Pacers could absolutely even this series up before heading back to New York. Although the 2-0 deficit would speak otherwise, this series is far, far from over.

Here’s everything to know about this pivotal Game 3 matchup.

Predictions for Knicks vs. Pacers, Game 3:

CBS Sports: Pacers (-7)

Jasmyn Wimbish writes, “As this series shifts to Indianapolis I imagine the Pacers will feed off their home crowd to try and win. Couple that with the shaky status of Anunoby, and I think Indiana closes the gap here.”

FOX Sports: Pacers 117, Knicks 115

FOX Sports is leaning the Pacers in this one, pointing out that the Knicks have not done very well as the underdog this year, winning just 14 of 35 games as the underdogs. Meanwhile, the Pacers have won 26 of 43 contests as the favorites.

FanDuel: Pacers to win

It seems all the experts like this to be a close series. FanDuel gives the Pacers a 55% chance to win this contest. They note that although the Knicks have a winning record against the spread this year, the Pacers are just a little bit better, and it’s doubtful the Pacers will go by so quietly.
