As the cricketing world continues to bask in the afterglow of the high-octane run-scoring fest that was the Indian Premier League (IPL), Proteas star Heinrich Klaasen believes batters need adapt to the different pitches at the T20 World Cup.

The initial stages of the T20 World Cup have presented a stark contrast to the IPL, with the “drop-in” pitches in the USA raising some eyebrows.

It’s still early days, but there are some concerns about the surface at the Nassau County International Stadium as the Proteas chased 78 in a six-wicket win against Sri Lanka.
