New York Yankees vs. Cleveland Guardians channel today? How to watch Game 4 of ALCS
Gavin Williams on Guardians naming him ALCS Game 4 starter vs Yankees
Cleveland Guardians pitcher Gavin Williams reflected on being named the AL Championship Series Game 4 starter vs. the New York Yankees.
The Cleveland Guardians have finally made their presence felt in the American League Championship Series.
After a thrilling three-run eighth inning for the New York Yankees, it looked like the Bronx Bombers were going to take a daunting 3-0 series lead over the Guardians in the ALCS. However, Cleveland was resilient, with Jhonkensy Noel tattooing a two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth to push the game to extra innings. Then, in the 10th, it was David Fry who played the hero role, smacking a 419-foot moonshot to give the Guardians their first win of the series.
The Guardians still have a massive hurdle in front of them though. No one wants to be down in a series at any point. In Game 4, Gavin Williams will have the duty of limiting the Yankees’ offense. Meanwhile, the Guardians’ offense will face Luis Gil.
