Machine Gun Kelly will be the headline act for the NFL’s final international game this season.
“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Machine Gun Kelly to the stage as the halftime performer for the 2024 NFL Game in Munich — capping off an incredible season of international games with a performance from one of the most dynamic talents in music today,” said Tim Tubito, the NFL’s director of event and game presentation, per Jem Aswad of Variety.
“We’re always striving to deliver world-class entertainment that resonates with our international fans, while also embracing local culture. And what better way to celebrate the passionate fans in Germany than with a modern take on one of their favorite gameday anthems?”
According to Aswad, MGK will perform “Lonely Road,” his collaboration with Jelly Roll that samples John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” Denver’s legendary song has become a staple during Germany’s Oktoberfest celebration.

The NFL expanded its International Series to Germany in 2022. The league returned last year and staged two games in Frankfurt.
Allianz Arena in Munich will be the host for this season’s clash between the New York Giants and Carolina Panthers on Nov. 10. It doesn’t figure to be a consequential contest since the two teams are a combined 3-11.
That’s unlikely to dampen the atmosphere given how raucous the past Germany games have been.
