The 2024 college football season is nearing the end with conference championship games, the 12-team playoffs, and bowl games just around the corner. At the same time, the NFL season is into its final month, with about half the league looking more toward improving their teams in 2025.
Plenty will change between now and next April, but it’s always good to get an early look at how things might unfold.
Here’s looking at the latest first-round projections when considering the current stock of each prospect and what teams might need.

NFL Mock Draft 2025
1. Jacksonville Jaguars 2-10
-
Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado (6-1, 185 pounds)
The Jaguars have had atrocious pass coverage outside for most of the season. They also need to give rising first-round rookie Brian Thomas Jr. more big-play support for Trevor Lawrence. Hunter, regardless of a coaching change, would be a great non-QB pick for them.
BIG BOARD DRAFT RANKINGS: Hunter tops best 100 prospects for 2025
2. Las Vegas Raiders 2-10
- Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado (6-2, 215 pounds)
Mark Davis has made no secret about how he would like someone of Sanders’ flash to be the face of the franchise, and it’s not crazy to think this could be a package deal to also land Deion for better prime-time action in Las Vegas.
3. New York Giants 2-10
- Cam Ward, QB, Miami (6-2, 223 pounds)
Ward can be the next dynamic dual threat in the vein of Jayden Daniels, who is lighting it up for the rival Commanders as a rookie. With Daniel Jones gone, the Giants should be fine addressing a franchise QB early in April.
4. New England Patriots 2-10
- Mason Graham, DT, Michigan (6-3, 318 pounds)
Graham is a nasty run stopper whose flashes as an inside pass rusher suggest potential dominance in the NFL. That will sell Jerod Mayo on Graham being his new defensive lynchpin.
5. Carolina Panthers 3-9
-
Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State (6-3, 250 pounds)
The Panthers need to rev up the pass rush for Ejiro Evero, and there’s no doubt Carter can be devastating in that capacity while also helping the team plenty with issues vs. the run.
6. New York Jets 3-9
- Will Campbell, OT, LSU (6-6, 323 pounds)
Aging Tyron Smith is fading at left tackle, and another veteran addition, Morgan Moses, hasn’t been that reliable at right tackle. The Jets should want this massive mauler to be a huge asset in the running game playing either side and also smoothly protecting Aaron Rodgers (or whoever is at QB).
7. Tennessee Titans 3-9
- Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona (6-5, 210 pounds)
The Titans need an all-around alpha playmaker to further boost rising second-year QB Will Levis, and McMillan can be a great X complement to Calvin Ridley and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine.
8. Cleveland Browns 3-9
- Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama (6-2, 225 pounds)
The Browns should accept their expensive lumps on Deshaun Watson and go the rookie first-round route for their next franchise QB. Milroe can give them that special dual-threat answer in the division for Lamar Jackson.
8. Cincinnati Bengals 4-8
-
Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri (5-11, 208 pounds)
Burden is the ideal route-running playmaker to replace pending free agent Tee Higgins opposite Ja’Marr Chase with some reliable red-zone and big-play attributes.
10. New Orleans Saints 4-8
- Will Johnson, CB, Michigan (6-2, 202 pounds)
The Saints need to rebuild their secondary with Marshon Lattimore gone and plenty of question marks remaining. Johnson is the type of big, active, on-ball playmaker who can be the ideal replacement.
11. Chicago Bears 4-8
- Mykel Williams, DT, Georgia (6-5, 265 pounds)
The Bears have Montez Sweat for the edge but will need to beef up the interior for the post-Matt Eberflus era. Williams has the versatility to get to the QB from inside or outside.
12. Miami Dolphins 5-7
- Malaki Starks, S, Georgia (6-1, 205 pounds)
The Dolphins have Jevon Holland to lead them at safety, but they have other issues away from Jalen Ramsey in the secondary. Starks can flat-out make a ton of plays, capable of smoothly going from extra run-stopping linebacker to savvy inside cover man.
13. Dallas Cowboys 5-7
-
Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State (5-9, 215 pounds)
The Cowboys will channel their pick of Ezekiel Elliott for another top feature back. Jeanty is the complete package to clean up all their running and receiving limitations at the position.
14. San Francisco 49ers 5-7
-
Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M (6-4, 285 pounds)
Nick Bosa is hurt again and needs some help regardless from some youthful pass-rushing energy. Scourton is ideal to produce in San Francisco’s defensive scheme.
15. Indianapolis Colts 6-7
- Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas (5-11, 190 pounds)
The Colts shouldn’t shy away from adding more speedy vertical threats for big-armed youngster Anthony Richardson, and Bond would fit nicely playing off Josh Downs, Michael Pittman Jr., and Alec Pierce.
16. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 6-6
- James Pearce, EDGE, Tennessee (6-5, 243 pounds)
Todd Bowles’ defense could use a highly athletic pass rusher with some versatility and upside, and Pearce can develop and thrive well in his system.
17. Los Angeles Rams 6-6
-
Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas (6-4, 324 pounds)
The Rams will be in the market for some left tackle help next year, and Sean McVay should like what he sees in Banks’ combination of strength and agility.
18. Arizona Cardinals 6-6
- Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan (6-3, 339 pounds)
The Cardinals need to keep beefing up the middle with a stout run stopper for Jonathan Gannon. Grant also offers plenty of power vs. the pass rush.
19. Washington Commanders 8-5
- Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame (6-0, 190 pounds)
The Commanders traded for Marshon Lattimore, but they have multiple concerns with their cornerback coverage with first-rounder Emmanuel Forbes not panning out. Morrison, coming off a hip injury, can help big-time with smarts, size, and sound coverage technique.
20. Denver Broncos 8-5
-
Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina (6-3, 227 pounds)
The Broncos need to restore their strength at safety post-Justin Simmons. Emmanwori can do everything and has shot into first-round consideration, not far behind Starks with a similar skill set.
21. Baltimore Ravens 8-5
- Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia (6-2, 245 pounds)
The Ravens miss Patrick Queen in their linebacker corps, and this would provide Zach Orr a much-needed do-everything star on the second level.
22. Green Bay Packers 9-3
- Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State (6-2, 290 pounds)
The Packers need to go after some more defensive punch for Jeff Hafley, and Williams can be a big-time disruptor and pressure-creator.
23. Los Angeles Chargers 8-4
-
Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan (6-5, 245 pounds)
The Chargers and Loveland seem like a Jim Harbaugh-Greg Roman match made in heaven as they look for the next version of Mark Andrews to help Justin Herbert.
24. Minnesota Vikings 10-2
- Shavon Revel Jr., CB, East Carolina (6-2, 193 pounds)
The Vikings have used their aggressive pass rush to mask trouble with wide Revel, who should make a full recovery from his torn ACL, would be a nice cover man to groom for Brian Flores to use in island coverage.
25. Atlanta Falcons 6-6
- Deone Walker, DT, Kentucky (6-6, 345 pounds)
The Falcons also could use a massive presence on their defensive line who can push well in the pass rush to give Raheem Morris his version of Aaron Donald.
26. Houston Texans 8-5
-
Donovan Jackson, G, Ohio State (6-4, 320 pounds)
Right guard Shaq Mason has been shaky at 31, and left guard Kendrick Green is a pending free agent. Jackson is a nasty, powerful run blocker who can move well in their system.
27. Seattle Seahawks 7-5
-
Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas (6-2, 204 pounds)
Ewers is an accurate, strong-armed, efficient passer with the right dash of athleticism. That makes him an ideal stash to succeed Geno Smith after Ewers learns from him and Ryan Grubb.
28. Pittsburgh Steelers 9-3
-
Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State (6-1, 205 pounds)
The Steelers need to give George Pickens a true No. 2 option, and Egbuka is the classic Buckeyes prospect with great hands, smooth route-running, and big-play flair.
29. Philadelphia Eagles 10-2
- Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota (6-6, 330 pounds)
The Eagles need to think a little about the future at offensive tackle, and Ersery has the power and athleticism to develop as a rock on either side.
30. Buffalo Bills 10-2
-
Jack Sawyer, EDGE, Ohio State (6-5, 260 pounds)
Sawyer has the relentlessness to fit the Bills’ aggressive scheme in getting to the quarterback. He can turn into the leader of their strong committee in time.
31. Kansas City Chiefs 11-1
-
Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State (6-6, 260 pounds)
The Chiefs are hinting at life after Travis Kelce with more of Noah Gray in key passing situations, but they should want to bring along another dynamic athlete to groom and use well in 12 personnel, which will be accelerated should Kelce decide to retire after the season.
32. Detroit Lions 11-1
-
J.T. Tuimoloau, EDGE, Ohio State (6-4, 270 pounds)
The Lions will keep an eye on Sawyer, too, but this Buckeyes’ teammate keeps rising and would be a great complement for stud Michigan man Aidan Hutchinson.
