NFL schedule 2024: Latest Giants leaks, news, updates for every game
The NFL’s 2024 schedule will be released at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
But some games have already been announced. And others will trickle out before Wednesday night’s formal announcement.
So keep it right here for all the leaks, news, and updates for every game on the Giants’ schedule.
As of Tuesday night, no Giants games had been announced.
These are the Giants’ home opponents (other than the Eagles, Cowboys, and Commanders): Saints, Buccaneers, Vikings, Ravens, Bengals, and Colts.
And these are the Giants’ road opponents (other than the Eagles, Cowboys, and Commanders): Falcons, Panthers, Seahawks, Browns, and Steelers.
These six games, across the NFL, have already been announced:
• Ravens-Chiefs (Week 1 Thursday night)
• Packers-Eagles (Week 1 Friday night, in Brazil)
• Cowboys-Browns (Week 1 Sunday afternoon)
• Jets-49ers (Week 1 Monday night)
• Bills-Dolphins (Week 2 Thursday night)
• Bengals-Chiefs (Week 2 Sunday afternoon)
As for the NFL’s four other international games (one in Germany and three in London), the Giants could possibly play in one of them — at the Panthers in Munich. (The NFL declined to put Giants-Eagles in Sao Paulo, instead slotting the Packers for that game.)
The Giants last played overseas in 2022, when they beat the Packers in London.
The Giants went 9-7-1 that season and won a wild-card playoff game in Minnesota, before getting crushed in Philadelphia in the divisional round. Still, it was a promising start in East Rutherford for rookie head coach Brian Daboll. But after winning the NFL’s Coach of the Year award in 2022, he slipped in Year 2 — a 6-11 disaster that has him on the hot seat entering Year 3.
