NFL Week 15 Inactives: Who’s in, who’s out for Ravens at Giants
The Giants listed 10 players on their final injury report of the week with game designations, ruling out defensive lineman Rakeem Nuñez-Roches (neck/shoulder), linebacker Bobby Okereke (back), rookie cornerback Dru Phillips (shoulder), and starting left guard Jon Runyan (ankle), who was later placed on injured reserve.
Quarterback Drew Lock (heel/left elbow) and cornerback Cor’Dale Flott (quad) were doubtful, while cornerback Deonte Banks (rib), offensive tackle Chris Hubbard (knee), linebacker Dyontae Johnson (ankle), and center Austin Schlottmann (fibula) were questionable. Johnson and Schlottmann are in the 21-day practice window for return from injured reserve.
Lock’s injury put Tommy DeVito in line to make his second start of the season, eighth overall in his career. It also led to the signing of quarterback Tim Boyle off the practice squad among a series of Saturday roster moves, which also included the elevation of defensive back Raheem Layne.
Earlier in the week, the Giants placed rookie safety Tyler Nubin and cornerback Tre Hawkins III, who had his first career interception last week, on injured reserve.
