NFL Week 6 Weather Conditions (Fantasy Football)

Another week with some significant weather impacts. The Steelers and Cowboys game was delayed almost 90 minutes due to rain and thunderstorms. Unfortunately looking ahead to next week, it looks like we’ll have some similarly impacted games. So read below and “Whether Weather Really Matters” to find out how best to position yourself to win the week.

Also, we had another incredibly impactful hurricane hit the Southeast United States this week. I sincerely hope that if you or your loved ones were impacted that the recovery is quick and that everyone is safe.

Morning Game (London)

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Chicago Bears

LOW impact.  It’s shaping up to be a decent enough day in London with partly sunny skies, light winds, and temps in the mid-50s during game time. Of note, per the NFL the Jags were delayed getting into London by a day due to Hurricane Milton. It is unlikely to have an impact on most of the players but something to be aware of since they’ll have less time to adapt to the time difference.

Early Afternoon Games

Arizona Cardinals @ Green Bay Packers

HIGH impact.  It’s looking pretty nasty in Green Bay on Sunday. Over 80% chance of rain, winds in the low-teens gusting up to the low-20s, and temps in the upper-50s. Whenever we see games like this, there is usually more of a dependency on the run game and short passes but they generally remain low-scoring. Double-check before kickoff and be ready to flex.

Indianapolis Colts @  Tennessee Titans

MEDIUM impact. It’ll be sunny in Nashville and pretty warm with high temps in the mid-80s. Why the medium impact then? Glad you asked, winds will be in the low-teens gusting to the mid to upper-20s. If you have a kicker alternative I would flex to them as those conditions will likely cause some issues with field goals.

Houston Texans @ New England Patriots

LOW impact.  There will be a 40% chance of rain throughout the area during game time, however, it doesn’t look like it’ll be enough to cause a ton of trouble during the game. Winds will be fairly light in the single digits and temperatures in the high-50s.

Cleveland Browns @ Philadelphia Eagles

LOW impact. Minor chance of rain (less than 20%) during the game, winds in the single digits, and temps in the mid-70s.  Overall great conditions for the game.

Washington Commanders @ Baltimore Ravens

LOW impact.  Overall good conditions for the game. It’ll be a little windy with winds in the single digits gusting up to the mid-teens. Temps in the 70s during the game.

Late Afternoon Games

Los Angeles Chargers @ Denver Broncos

LOW impact. Sunny with high temps in the mid-70s. Winds will be gusting into the low-teens, but not enough to really cause an issue.

Atlanta Falcons @ Carolina Panthers

LOW impact. A beautiful day for football in Charlotte. No rain, light winds, temps in the low-80s.

Sunday Night Game

Cincinnati Bengals @ New York Giants

MEDIUM impact. Rain chances are at 60% during game time, but the good news is that the winds will be predominately light. So it won’t be wet and windy. Lows in the mid-50s.

Monday Night Game

Buffalo Bills @ New York Jets

LOW impact.  All the weather that’ll be impacting the Northeast United States on Sunday will have cleared out, leaving clear skies and nice conditions for Monday Night.

Weather is a dynamic thing and can change! Keep an eye on your local weather source leading up to kickoff to see if anything changes significantly.  Good luck!
