New York City Weather Forecast, India vs Pakistan, T20 WC 2024: India and Pakistan will clash in the much-awaited T20 World Cup 2024 fixture at New York’s Nassau County International Cricket Stadium on Sunday (June 9) but fans may not witness a full 20-over game due to early weather forecast for rain.
New York: We are roughly two days away from the biggest cricket match of the calendar in which arch-rivals India take on Pakistan in Nassau County stadium in New York. But, while the anticipation and the stakes are very high for this game, there are possibilities of rain playing spoilsport.
Accuweather forecasts that there is a 40 per cent to 50 per cent chance of rain during the toss but it will go down to 10% at 1 pm and go up again to 40 per cent at 3 pm.
While rain is likely to delay the toss, the temperature will be around the 25-degree Celcius-mark with 58 per cent humidity, which is ideal for a game of cricket.
Eyes would surely be on the skies as fans would pray that the game happens and there are no interruptions.
India’s T20 World Cup squad: Rohit Sharma (c), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant (wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal, Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube.
