NYC smoke shop shooting leaves man, 34, critically hurt after suffering six gunshot wounds: cops

A 34-year-old man was shot six times inside a Queens smoke shop – possibly during a fight over a woman being harassed in the store, according to cops and reports.

The victim was blasted four times in the back and twice in the right arm inside Sky High Exotic on Jamaica Avenue near 120th Street in Richmond Hill around 10:30 p.m. Monday, authorities said.

He was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition, cops said Tuesday.

Police said two male suspects and an employee were inside the store at the time of the shooting — and that a woman had left just before the violence broke out.

Some reports suggested the victim stepped in to stop one of the suspects from bothering the woman inside the store, while others said the gunman was set off when the victim approached the woman to talk to her.

One of the suspects was last wearing a black hat and white T-shirt, gray sweatpants and white sneakers, authorities said.

The other suspect, who had long hair, wore a Gucci baseball cap, black T-shirt, black pants and black sneakers.

Both fled south on Lefferts Boulevard, cops said.

The motive remains under investigation.
