Pacers vs. Knicks: Predictions and odds for Eastern Conference semifinals Game 6
Knicks legend Stephon Marbury compares Jalen Brunson to other all-time players
Knicks legend Stephon Marbury says Jalen Brunson is uniquely great and compares him to some other all-time NBA players.
NBA Playoff action continues Friday night in the Eastern Conference. The No. 6-seed Indiana Pacers host the No. 2-seed New York Knicks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
The Knicks are up 3-2 in the series after a 121-91 win in Game 5 Wednesday night in New York. Jalen Brunson had a game-high 44 points to pace the Knicks – his fifth 40-point game of the playoffs – in New York’s biggest win of the series.

Home court’s been key in this matchup with the home team winning each game so far. Indiana is facing elimination and hopes that holds true again to force a winner-take-all Game 7. If New York bucks that trend and gets the first road win of the series, the Knicks will make the Eastern Conference finals for the first time since 2000.

ClutchPoints: Pacers -5.5
Griffin Conant writes: “Shockingly, the Knicks have not been to the Eastern Conference Finals since 2000. Unfortunately for New York fans, they are going to have to wait until Game 7 to make that return as Indiana will prove to be too stout at home.”
Winners and Whiners: Knicks +5.5
Andre Ifill says: “New York’s offensive rebounding is another reason why they won’t have issues offensively again. The Pacers did not have a good plan against the Knicks’ new starting lineup, and they need to show that they can crack that pressure. Take New York to cover the spread, at least.”
ESPN: Pacers have a 55.4% chance of victory
The site’s Playoff Basketball Power Index (PBPI) rates the Knicks (3.0) higher than the Pacers (2.5) but home court advantage swings this in Indiana’s favor.
