Pacman Jones arrested for alleged public intoxication, assaulting officer after Paul-Tyson fight
Adam “Pacman” Jones’ fight night ended with him cuffs after the Mike Tyson-Logan Paul bout early Saturday morning.
The former NFL star was arrested by police at the Lowes Arlington Hotel for alleged public intoxication, resisting arrest and assault of a police officer, according to TMZ.
In a video obtained by the outlet, you can see Jones, wearing a black outfit with a cowboy hat, being taken away by a police officer at the hotel that is close to AT&T Stadium where Paul beat Tyson by unanimous decision. More officers later join in and tell others to back up.
A representative from Jones told TMZ that former safety “adamantly denies” the allegations and “looks forward to explaining the truth”
The rep added that Jones was just going back to his hotel to wind down and “was not looking for trouble.”
He was released on $319 bond on Saturday morning, according to the Daily Mail.
Jones, 41, played 13 seasons in the NFL with the Titans, Cowboys, Bengals and Broncos.
He reached the Pro Bowl once and was named an All-Pro after a 2014 season that saw him average 31.3 yards per kick return. His last season in the league was 2018.
He had had numerous run-ins with police, including pleading guilty to disorderly conduct after being thrown off a September 2023 flight in Kentucky following an outburst.
In 2019, Jones was arrested in Indiana for allegedely cheating at blackjack at a casino table. He has been arrested 10 times since 2000 and was suspended by the NFL in 2009.
