Pelicans host the Knicks in Saturday night matchup at the SKC
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The New Orleans Pelicans return home on Saturday night in search of a much-needed win against the New York Knicks. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. on Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network. Pregame show starts at 6:30 p.m.
The Pels are 5-23 on the season, and 4-9 at home. New Orleans is 10 games out of the 10th seed currently held by the Golden State Warriors.
Willie Green’s squad possess the second-worst record in the NBA. The Washington Wizards are 4-21 on the season.
Pelicans will have four players listed as out and one listed as questionable when they take on the New York Knicks in their first game of a five-game homestand in the Smoothie King Center on Saturday.
For New Orleans, center Daniel Theis (personal) was upgraded to questionable on the official injury report after missing the previous contest. Four Pelicans players are listed as out, including guard Jose Alvarado (left hamstring strain), forward Brandon Ingram (left ankle sprain), center Karlo Matkovic (low back disc protrusion), and forward Zion Williamson (left hamstring strain).
