PM Modi’s visit to New York: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to embark on a visit to the United States from September 21 to 23. During this trip, he will participate in the Quad Summit and deliver a keynote address at the ‘Summit of the Future’ at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. As the anticipation builds for his arrival in New York, media sources have been reporting about the excitement that is rippling through the Indian diaspora in the United States.

Madhav Sumani, an enthusiastic member of the Indian diaspora, expressed his eagerness and told ANI that he can hardly contain his excitement to see PM Modi! He said that his accomplishments in India, like the bullet train initiative and the electrification of the railway network, are truly impressive. He also said that living in Nagpur, he has seen the firsthand impact of the metro expansion. ” I really love his aura and energy when he comes,” Sumani said.

Mohini Agarwal, another member of the diaspora, shared her hopes for the trip, emphasizing the potential for easier immigration policies. She said that she is looking forward to PM Modi streamlining visa processes for them and creating more opportunities for both Indian and American students to engage and learn from each other.

PM Modi is on a three-day visit to Jharkhand, Odisha, and Gujarat, with his next stops in Gujarat on September 16 and Odisha on September 17.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri also highlighted the significance of Modi’s engagements during this visit, noting that it will allow the Prime Minister to express gratitude to US President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida for their leadership in the Quad partnership. Misri described the upcoming discussions as a chance to deepen the comprehensive global strategic partnership between India and the US, which spans numerous sectors.

Misri said that this visit is not just a diplomatic affair but a vibrant exchange. He also notified that PM Modi will engage with the Indian community, meet business leaders, and participate in high-level talks, starting with the Quad Summit in Wilmington, Delaware, before heading to New York for the Summit of the Future.

Throughout these three days, Modi’s itinerary promises rich interactions, from addressing pressing global issues to celebrating the spirit of the Indian diaspora, making this visit a pivotal chapter in strengthening ties between India and the US.
