Post experts’ predictions for Knicks-Pacers NBA playoffs second-round series

The Post’s basketball experts predict the winner of the Knicks-Pacers second-round NBA playoff showdown, which begins Monday night at Madison Square Garden:

Knicks will muck up the game, slow down the Pacers and, most importantly, dominate the glass. They were No. 1 in rebound rate this season. The Pacers? No. 23.

For most of the time I pondered this pick, I had Pacers in 6; I think they’re too athletic and explosive for the short Knicks’ rotation. But I’ll need to see the Knicks lose four times to the defense-optional Pacers before I sign off on that.

Went with this pick in the first round but underestimated the Knicks’ resolve to grab a series-clincher on the road. That will be even more difficult to pull off against Tyrese Haliburton and the Pacers. So, Game 7 at MSG it is for Jalen Brunson and friends.
