Close enough — welcome back, Disney Store!

Ireland-based retailer Primark officially opened its new store at The Florida Mall in Orlando on Thursday, with an entire floor dedicated to Disney merchandise.

“With the store close to Walt Disney World Resort, Primark’s Disney destination will serve as a one-stop-shop for all Disney fans, offering a broad array of apparel and accessories featuring shoppers’ favorite Disney characters at amazing prices,” Primark officials said in a July press release.

Primark is an international clothing retailer that sells affordable items, including clothing, accessories, makeup and houseware. The company was founded in Dublin, Ireland in 1969 and has expanded to over 15 countries.

“With tee shirts from $4 and denim starting from $10, shoppers can expect the same great quality at amazing prices they’ve come to expect from Primark’s US stores,” they shared online.

The Florida Mall location will bring Primark to 26 US stores, across 10 states, and marks the retailer’s 450th store globally. There is another Primark in Florida, found is Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise. There’s also a distribution center in Jacksonville.

The Florida Mall is located at 8001 S Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando. It has nearly 300 shopping, dining, and entertainment options for patrons.

Where is Primark located at Florida Mall?

According to the mall’s map, Primark can be found across the way from the American Girl store and Zara. For those familiar with the mall, it is in the two-level 36,200-square-foot retail space that previously housed Forever 21.

What Disney items does Primark sell?

Pretty much everything you could reasonably think of. From character plushies to themed pajamas, they will offer a vast array of product. They shared the Disney product will include Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Lion King,” in celebration of the animated film’s 30th anniversary, Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch”, Disney’s Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, and other top characters.

Officials also said the store’s setting also provides multiple photo opportunities for Disney fans who will “love the not-to-be-missed in-store experience.”

When does Orlando’s Primark open to the public?

As of Aug. 29, Orlando’s Primark location is open, with doors opening at 11 a.m. To celebrate, they shared that they will host a series of family-fun events to kick off opening weekend, adding those early in line can look forward to giveaways and local treats.

Shoppers can also expect food trucks, performances, illustrators and other activities from Aug. 31 to Sept. 1.

How far away is Primark, Florida Mall from Walt Disney Resorts?

Those visiting the theme parks and wanting to grab some extra merchandise for your day at the park might be wondering just how far away the store is.

At 12 miles away, the Florida Mall is roughly a 23 minute drive from the Walt Disney World resorts, depending on whether I-4 traffic is forgiving or not.
