Salma Hayek, Kim Kardashian and Priyanka Chopra to Co-Host Caring for Women Dinner During New York Fashion Week

Salma Hayek Pinault, Kim Kardashian and Priyanka Chopra Jonas are among the co-hosts of the upcoming Caring for Women dinner.

The third annual gala, presented by the Kering Foundation, will raise funds for organizations focused on breaking the cycle of gender-based violence and supporting survivors and their families.

Additional co-hosts include François-Henri Pinault, Camila Alves McConaughey and Matthew McConaughey, Carmelo Anthony, Urs Fischer, Donatella Versace and Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup.

Held during New York Fashion Week on Sept. 9 at The Pool, the evening benefits Girl Effect, It’s On Us and the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV).

The Caring for Women Dinner, which is produced by JWP, will include a dinner for 200, a surprise performance and an auction of one-of-a-kind items and experiences from Kering’s Houses, including Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Brioni, Boucheron, Pomellato and Ginori 1735.

Last year’s live auction raised $3 million.

“For women and children to be free to fulfill their potential unencumbered by the burdens of fear, threat, and trauma, it is paramount that we address violence at its roots to change behavior and heal our collective culture,” François-Henri Pinault, chairman and CEO of Kering and chairman of the Kering Foundation, said in a statement Thursday.

Since 2008, the Kering Foundation has worked to end gender-based violence and improve the lives of survivors. It partners with local, feminist NGOs in six countries to support survivor-centered services and prevention programs. It also mobilizes its networks to take action and raise awareness and critical additional funds to end violence against women and children.
