KAT is already making some unique history or the other, be it early stretches or box scores for the Knicks. However, Sunday was somewhat special, also, because he defied his injuries and came on the court to play.

He became the first Knick to have at least 25, 15, and five in the respective categories in less than 30 minutes. Towns delivered a standout performance, lifting the Knicks (7-6) to a winning record. They now stand alongside Boston, Orlando, and unbeaten Cleveland in the East. Despite Jalen Brunson’s shooting struggles (3-of-14), Towns’ versatile play stole the spotlight.
