Super fit couple, Brian Daboll and wife Beth, stole the show at Giants 100 event

The Giants celebrated 100 years as a franchise Thursday night, and their current head coach, Brian Daboll and his wife Beth, were looking their best.

The “New York Giants 100: A Night with Legends” held at The Theater at Madison Square Garden was a who’s-who of the storied franchise, with Lawrence Taylor, Bill Parcells and Eli Manning among those in attendance.

At rookie minicamp last month, Daboll was asked about what he’s doing to look so good.

“I don’t know about that one. It’s like throwing a chair off of a yacht. That’s where I’m at,” said Daboll, who parents six kids with Beth.

A reporter sought to clarify, with a laugh: “Two chairs.”

Daboll granted the revision, agreeing, “Two chairs,” and concluded his press conference.

Daboll had mentioned in a previous press conference that he had participated in a weight loss challenge with other members of the organization this offseason.

This is not the first time that Daboll has come into the season after rigorous weight loss.

In June of 2022, Daboll noted that he had lost a net 30 pounds in between when he was introduced as Giants’ head coach in January and that point.

“I lost 50-some pounds since the press conference,” Daboll said, as covered by former Post columnist Ian O’Connor, “though I gained about 20 of it back in the last month of practice.”

At that point, he did not have a high degree of confidence he would keep the weight off once the season picked up.

“I was just trying to get as low as I can get,” Daboll said, “but once the season starts it goes right back up.”

Daboll also alluded to a prospective diet before last offseason.

Right after he won the AP Coach of the Year award after his first season with the Giants, Daboll revealed his plans to watch the Super Bowl at home in New Jersey.

“I’m gonna sit back, eat a tray full of nachos, drink a six pack and then I’ll start my diet,’’ Daboll told The Post’s Paul Schwartz.
