TAP Air Portugal lines up new US routes for summer 2025
TAP Air Portugal will add three new seasonal routes between
Portugal and the United States for summer 2025, the carrier announced on
Tuesday.
Flights between Porto and Boston will begin on 14 May,
operating four times weekly – on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays –
with Airbus A321-LR aircraft. The service will operate until 25 October.
Two days later, on 16 May, the airline will commence flights
between Lisbon and Los Angeles using Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, starting with
a three-times-weekly service before adding a fourth weekly flight from 26 May.
Operating on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, the service will continue
until 25 October.
In addition, from 3 June, the airline’s Tuesday flights between
Lisbon and San Francisco will stop over on Terceira in the Azores.
TAP currently flies from Lisbon to seven US destinations –
New York, Newark, Boston, Miami, Washington DC, San Francisco and Chicago – and
from Porto to Newark.
