Taylor Riggs On Trump Ringing The Opening Bell At The New York Stock Exchange: ‘Signals America Is Open For Business’
Co-host of “The Big Money Show” on Fox Business Taylor Riggs joins Fox Across America With guest host Paul Gleiser to shed light on the significance of President-elect Trump being named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year in 2024.
“I think about this morning, the unveiling of it, and Trump is down, ringing the bell on the New York Stock Exchange at 9:30. You know, that signals to me America is open for business. Common sense is coming back. We believe that capitalism wins, that capitalism is good, that if you’re a small business or a large business, America is the place to win. We encourage investment in America. We don’t discourage it. And so all of that is sort of with the Time magazine cover in the background just sort of solidified to me that people feel like they want to return back. Let’s get back to business. Let’s get back to making money. Let’s get back to increase in wages for employees. Let’s get back to remembering that turning a profit isn’t a bad thing. That’s not the worst thing in the world. It is good when we make money, when we’re able to give it back to other people. So I think the Time magazine cover and then really for me, just Trump ringing the New York Stock Exchange, opening bell again, born and raised in New York City, the signal of American wealth of American capitalism. Business is back and we are open and we are ready to help businesses grow again.”
