New York Fashion Week will this season host Alaïa and Off-White. “The time feels right to show up,” Off-White’s Ib Kamara said of his decision to go Stateside back in July. “It feels natural to grow and show where so much of the community around the brand is. I think it will be amazing and feel great for Off-White to show for the first time in the city.” Of New York, he added: “It’s common ground – a melting pot where everybody is equal.”

Though Proenza Schouler kicked things off with a scaled-back show on Wednesday 4 September, New York Fashion Week does not officially start until Friday 6. On the line-up?
