EA Sports NHL has released their annual season simulation predictions using NHL 25.

The simulation covers the entire 2024-25 season, including division and award winners, point leaders, and the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The New York Rangers emerged as Stanley Cup champions, defeating the Edmonton Oilers in seven games as the Oilers fall one-game short again. Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin took home the Vezina and Conn Smythe Trophies.

The Boston Bruins and Nashville Predators each had successful seasons, both ultimately losing in the Conference Finals.

The New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Colorado Avalanche, and Vancouver Canucks won their respective divisions.

Auston Matthews took home the Hart and Rocket Richard Trophies with 75 goals and 124 points, finishing fourth overall in scoring. Connor McDavid snatched the Ted Lindsay away from Matthews and also comes away with the Art Ross after recording 147 points.

Nathan MacKinnon notched a career-high 64 goals and finished second in scoring with 139 points. Nikita Kucherov finishes third with 125 while Leon Draisaitl rounds out the top-five. Connor Bedard took a significant step and recorded 56 goals and 105 points.

Cale Makar took home the Norris while Macklin Celebrini wins the Calder in this simulation.

The simulation also predicts Minnesota, Anaheim, Columbus, and Montreal fans will not have much to cheer this season, as each finish last in their divisions.
