The North Face’s Latest New York City Store Is Now Open
With a heightened focus on New York City, consumers in Williamsburg now have a new destination to buy gear from The North Face.
Last night, the outdoor brand hosted a party for select media and others to celebrate the opening of its latest store, which is located in the popular Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn.
Inside, consumers will find a dedicated Renewed shop-in-shop, which will feature bespoke pieces of the brand’s Remade upcycled product. Also, they will be able to shop an assortment of snowsports products for men, women and kids, as well as footwear, which The North Face identified as important growth area. Also, the store is replete with nature-inspired elements that are integrated into its design.
“The North Face has been a well-worn uniform for New Yorkers throughout the streets of this great city for years. We are thrilled to be expanding our presence with our newest retail location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn,” said The North Face global brand president Caroline Brown, who assumed the role in June.
She continued, “Inspired by the core elements of mountaineering where we were born in 1966, this location will offer pieces that work from the mountain to the street.”
The store, which is located at 102 North 6th St., is open from 11 a.m. ET to 8 p.m. ET on weekdays and from 11 a.m. ET to 7 p.m. ET on Sundays.
Looking ahead, The North Face will expand its Fifth Avenue flagship store in late 2025. The brand confirmed the store, which is located at 510 Fifth Ave., will be one of its largest globally, with more than 20,000 square feet of retail space. The brand further stated that it is “laying the groundwork for the cutting-edge retail space that highlights both The North Face’s heritage and latest product innovations.”
The North Face opened its Fifth Avenue store in 2016, its first-ever flagship, when the brand was celebrating its 50th anniversary.
