This NYC department has the most open jobs

NEW YORK (PIX11) – The New York City Department of Social Services is hiring for nearly 600 open jobs, the most of any agency listed on the city’s careers website.

The Department of Social Services currently has 598 open jobs listed on JobsNYC, the official careers website for the City of New York. Nearly all of the job openings are full-time positions.

Most of the jobs are described as “experienced” roles, but there are some entry-level positions available.

The job listings provide salary ranges, descriptions of the position, minimum qualifications, and other requirements they may have.

Separately, an upcoming job fair in New York City will offer on-the-spot interviews for a variety of jobs, including positions in the maintenance, warehouse, customer service, social service, and food service industries.

BronxWorks, a non-profit organization, is hosting the job fair at 1130 Grand Concourse in the Bronx from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
