Thursday Night Football live updates: Jets lead Patriots in fourth quarter
The New York Jets host the New England Patriots in a matchup of divisional rivals on Thursday night at MetLife Stadium. After many years of dominance under coach Bill Belichick — 15 straight wins in the matchup — the Jets won the last game between the teams in Week 18 last season.
New York opened the season with a lopsided loss in San Francisco to the 49ers but bounced back in Week 2. Aaron Rodgers picked up his first win with the franchise against the Titans, throwing for 176 yards and two passing touchdowns.
New England, meanwhile, opened the season with a shocking victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. The followed it up with an overtime to the Seahawks.
Both teams are 1-1 and hope to keep pace with AFC East favorites Buffalo Bills who remain unbeaten through two games.
