Tom Brady sends hilarious X-rated message to Eli Manning as NFL rivalry resumes
Tom Brady said all that needed to be said with two written words.
The greatest quarterback of all time appeared to be shocked when an Eli Manning jersey was placed in front of him.
As Brady sat next to a stack of crisp New England Patriots jerseys, a red-and-white No. 10 New York Giants top was suddenly placed in Brady’s view.
The seven-time Super Bowl winner didn’t speak.
Instead, Brady said it all with his pen.
“F*** off,” wrote Brady, while briefly staring upward and showing disbelief.
Video footage cut to a smiling Manning, who clearly got the inside joke.
“Beautiful,” a laughing Manning said.
Brady could have nine Super Bowl rings if not for Manning and the Giants.
Peyton’s younger brother defeated Brady in Super Bowls XLII and XLVI by a combined seven points.
If Manning makes the Hall of Fame in the future, it will largely be because of his Super Bowl success against Brady and the Patriots’ dynasty.
“I don’t know what … ” said Manning, as he tried to figure out how to best reply to Brady’s tongue-in-cheek message.
Manning then took the high road, inking his name before reminding Brady how memorable the Giants’ two Super Bowl wins in 2008 and ’12 were.
“I’ll say … good game,” Manning said.
The last two words were written on the same jersey that featured Brady writing “F*** off.”
Which meant that whoever ended up with the dual-signed jersey had a true collector’s item.
“What is that going for … curious,” one fan tweeted.
“Eli has never gotten the love and respect that Tom always mostly has and still doesn’t,” a second fan posted. “But he’s a great QB and, like Tom, a super nice guy.”
“Feels pretty good knowing we are the only team to be undefeated against Tom Brady in the Super Bowl,” a third fan wrote. “Good Game!”
