Tom Brady ‘takes shot’ at NFL star Daniel Jones with brutal remarks
TOM Brady appeared to take a shot at New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones during an appearance at Fanatics Fan Fest.
Brady was on stage to discuss his new broadcasting gig, and created a hypothetical scenario using Jones.
Brady explained to the crowd that he has to use certain strategies to be critical of someone, besides calling them “horrible.”
He also explained that he won’t know exactly what went wrong when he sees a bad play, so he can’t be overly critical of one participant.
“Because there’s parents and there’s family members and I don’t want to always necessarily say it in that way,” Brady said.
“I just don’t want to be so critical, because in some ways I don’t necessarily know exactly what the problem was on that play.”
To demonstrate that, he created a hypothetical scenario and name dropped Jones.
“Let’s say Daniel Jones throws an interception,” Brady said.
The crowd, being based in New York, didn’t have the best reaction to Brady calling out a local quarterback, which put him on the defensive.
“I wasn’t even being critical of Daniel Jones,” he said.

“Maybe I was a little bit.”
Fans got a kick out of Brady’s “roast” of Jones, and shared their laughs on social media.
“If I were Tom Brady, I would take shots at the Giants any chance I could too,” one fan said.
“He hasn’t got over the Giants loss,” another fan said.
“Brady can talk all he wants—seven rings speak louder than anything Jones has done so far. This isn’t even a fair fight,” a third fan said.
“Bro hates the giants,” a fourth fan said.

Jones has certainly had trouble with interceptions in his career, perhaps prompting Brady to use him as an example.
Jones has 62 touchdowns and 40 interceptions in his career, and he threw six interceptions in his six games last year.
He also went 1-5 as the team’s starter in 2023, making his career record 22-36-1.
