Tomon Fox will need strong showing to stick with New York Giants
When he burst on the scene in 2022, Tomon Fox looked like he might be a find for the New York Giants. Now, he seems more like an afterthought.
Does Fox have a future with the Giants? Let’s discuss as we continue our player-by-player profiles of the team’s 90-man roster.

Career to date
Fox was the only undrafted free agent rookie to make the Giants’ season-opening 53-man roster in 2022. He flashed some potential, getting a sack, four pressures and making 24 tackles (15 solo) as a backup edge defender.
In 2023, though, Fox was relegated to the practice squad for most of the season. He appeared in only one late-season game.
2024 outlook
Fox would seem to have a difficult road to a roster spot, and right now it is difficult to know if new defensive coordinator Shane Bowen sees a potential place for him. If he sticks, Fox could again be headed to the practice squad.
