Two teens shot on NYC basketball court by bike-riding gunman: sources

Two 15-year-olds — a girl and a boy — were shot and wounded on a basketball court in Queens Wednesday afternoon, police and law enforcement sources said.

The teens were both hit by gunfire around 4:30 p.m. at 430 54th Street in Far Rockaway after a bike-riding shooter wearing all black opened fire, police and sources said.

The girl was struck in the leg and arm, and the boy suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, police said.

Both were taken to St. John’s Hospital in stable condition, sources said.

No arrests have been made.

The two victims are the latest teens to fall prey to disturbing violence that has engulfed Big Apple youth in recent weeks, including a 16-year-old who was fatally shot in SoHo earlier this month.

A 19-year-old man was later arrested and charged with murder in the case.
