VIDEO: First look as new store opens in York

The new and larger Lush Cosmetics replaces a smaller shop which was previously at the other end of Coney Street, and sees an increase in size of 35 per cent – bringing the size of the new store to 100sqm.

Lines of shoppers waited outside the new Lush this morning with the first 100 given free gifts on entry. 

For those who don’t want to brave the cold, here’s a look at how the new store has turned out:

The new space will include a designated party area and ranges that were not previously available online in Lush’s York location.

Speaking to The Press, store manager Sarah Baker expressed her excitement around the opening saying: “I’m so excited and seeing that great big queue outside of all the people who want to see the hard work we put in is just thrilling – exactly what we wanted.”
