The Texans are entering their second season under Ryans and second with quarterback C.J. Stroud, whom Houston drafted second overall last spring.
Stroud impressed in his rookie season, helping the Texans finish 10-7 in the regular season, win the AFC South and advance to the Divisional Round of the playoffs, where they fell 34-10 to Baltimore.
Vikings fans will also see familiar faces when the Texans come to town, including Danielle Hunter and Stefon Diggs, both of whom were 2015 draft picks by Minnesota. Former Vikings cornerback Kris Boyd and quarterback Case Keenum also are returning with Houston this season.
