Vikings’ Updated Depth Chart, NFL Salary Cap After Rumored Daniel Jones Contract

The Minnesota Vikings have added former New York Giants starter Daniel Jones to their quarterback room.
Jones will likely compete with Nick Mullens and Brett Rypien to back up Sam Darnold after losing his starting job in New York. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport indicated that he plans to join Rypien on the Vikings practice squad.

The Vikings headed into Wednesday with just over $7.8 million in cap space, per Over the Cap.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jones and the Vikings agreed to a $375,000 deal for the remainder of the 2024 season.
